Hello Juud! Tell us, why do you love the Oversized Shirt pattern?
What’s not to love about it?! From the little loop on the back to the brilliantly designed cuffs. It is incredibly versatile – you can lengthen it, shorten it, choose different collars, and change the sleeve length with some relatively easy pattern hacking.
Style wise, you can easily dress it up or down.
Do you have any tips to share when making it?
The sleeves are sewn in flat, which can seem a bit unusual, but is actually a great and easy way to insert sleeves. Just trust the pattern and the instructions and you’re good to go.
I recommend to start with a shirt version in cotton or linen. Not only does it look great in these fabrics, but they are also easy to work with.
For a crisp pointed collar, press the seam allowance apart and cut it really short, approximately 3 mm.
